Joshua’s Custom Carpentry puts a special emphasis and focus on the middle word in our name. We marry love of design with knowledge of construction in planning projects. We don’t just build what we like and we don’t just build in one style, we focus on our clients’ wishes and desires to craft solution that inspire and delight our customers. By focusing on your needs and lifestyle we build your dreams. Joshua’s Custom Carpentry is a 7 person team. Each team member brings special and unique skills to the projects. Our range of projects includes residential craftsmanship, custom cabinetry, furniture (with a special emphasis on live-edge tables), raised garden beds, and even cutting/charcuterie boards. We store a very special selection of some of the most beautiful, hand-picked hardwoods that can be found just waiting to be crafted into unique pieces to be displayed in clients’ spaces.

About Joshua Schindelman
Joshua began using tools to build things when he was five years old and has not stopped. What began as building bird houses has evolved into Joshua building delightful furniture and houses for people. Joshua also has extensive experience growing an array of organic vegetables at one point growing enough food to host a CSA for 14 families for 12 week of the summer. Joshua is passionate about what he does and in the very few hours he is not focused on Joshua’s Custom Carpentry you can find Joshua playing high-level paintball on a sponsored team where he has played in the last three World Cups of Paintball. When he wants to “slow down” and relax, you can find Joshua on the trails riding his ATV.
